Overview of the palace

This is a magnificent castle of 25 rooms are extremely luxuriously decorated, located on the top of the hill, surrounded by green pine trees and intermingled with grass growing naturally. This project was designed by A.T.Kruzé, D.Veyssere, A.Lesonard and P.Foinet. Construction from 1933 to 1937 was completed. This architectural style was influenced by European architectural innovation. Innovation is expressed as it is designed with massive flat roofs in a large cubic form in asymmetrical balance. Both the surface and the façade are liberated from the classical symmetry of the classical style into the free-form cubes.

In particular, this is the first work using flint material (light color) outside the wall, as well as parts usually made of wood, but now made of metal carried from France. Since Decoux came to hold power in Vietnam, secretive tunnels have been built to ensure absolute security for him and his family. This tunnel is connected to a wine cellar with a width of about 1.5m, a height of more than 1m has many corners and is molded with strong concrete.

Palace 2 is one of the beautiful architecture of Dalat, bearing many imprints attached to the history of the country. After 1975, this place became a guest house and is now also used as guest house by the Lam Dong Committee
