Linh Phuoc Pagoda

Linh Phuoc Pagoda is also called ceramic Pagoda
Linh Phuoc Pagoda is located at 120, Tu Phuoc, Trai Mat, Ward 11, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. The pagoda is located northeast of Da Lat city, about 8km from the center of the city, on the national highway 20. The temple is in Mahayana.

The temple was built in 1949, completed in 1952. The temple has four main abbots: Thich Minh The (1951 - 1954), Thich An Hoa (1954 - 1956), Thich Quang Phat (1956 - 1959) and Thich Minh Duc (1959 - 1985). Thich Tam Vi Abbot from 1985 to present.


In 1990, Thich Tam Vi organized a restoration of the pagoda, the main hall was 33m long, 22m wide, built in a large scale.

The front tower is Da Bao tower 27m high. The two sides of the tower are a bell and a Drum. Inside the stupa is for worshiping
The right side of the stupa is a road and a flower garden. Here there is artificial paint 49m long, 1.3m wide. Dragon scales are made of 12,000 bottles of beer. The dragon head rising higher than 7m over the gate.

Especially, in the front yard of the pagoda, there is a 36m high bell tower, hanging a bell with the height of 8,500 kg, the largest bell in the Central and the South Vietnam. The bell is 4.38 m high, 2.34 m wide. The bell is embossed with four words: Linh Phuoc Tu Chung and many statues, pagodas and patterns, Scenes of One Pillar Pagoda (Hanoi), Thien Mu Pagoda (Hue), Linh Phuoc Pagoda (Dalat) Four sides: Xuan, Ha, Thu, East have 8 dragon
