In the past, there was a love story about K'Lang (Lat ethnicity) and a girl named Hobiang (Chil ethnicity). The K'Lang and Hobiang Houses are at the foot of the mountain, and they came across each other in the forest. Hobiang and her village were in trouble and K'Lang guy bravely saved her from the fierce wolves. Once they met, they fell in love with each other. But the curse between two clans so that Hobiang can not get married K'Lang.

Passing through the strict customs and feudal of the two tribes, the two are determined to come together. They moved away and became husband and wive to a place on the high mountain to live. When Hobiang was sick, K'Lang tried to cure her but did not help. He turned to report to the village to find a way to save her. but they didn't help him they chased him and shot him but Hebiang protected him She took the arrow. At the end of the story, Hobiang was killed by the poisoned arrows of the village who shot K'Lang. Grief overwhelmed, K'Lang cried a lot, his tears flow into a large stream, today called Dankia (Golden Stream). After their death, Biang's father was very regretful, accepting the unification of the tribes into a people named K'Ho. Since then the couple in the village easily come together. The mountain in La Ngu Thuong village, where K'Lang and Hobiang died, was named Langbiang - the couple's name, in memory of two people and their loyal love.
